You'll come to on the southwest shore of Lake Itoi. EVE has protected you from the lab's destruction and now awaits orders. She'll tag along, making sure you don't fall from the foes on Mt. Itoi.
And what an ally she is! EVE's power is unparalleled, destroying foes easily with damage reaching the 1000's. As long as she's with your crew, you can just kick back and let her do all the fighting!
There's one catch, however: EVE has a limited range she can travel in. If you go beyond this point, a familiar robotic foe will fly down from the sky and attack you, decimating EVE. The story will continue as normal, but you'll be without a powerful robo-ally. You'll want to keep EVE for as long as you can for her battle powers, so keep to the lake and peak area of Mt. Itoi.
Follow the vines and cliffs north of the lake to slowly scale Mt. Itoi. The maps are especially useful in determining where to go so you don't get lost -- it's very easy to here.
While you'd normally have to worry about enemies, EVE takes care of everything. Have everyone defend to take only half damage. Most of the time, enemies travel alone, and EVE always goes first, so you'll take minimal damage along the way.
When you get near the top, you may stumble upon a cave. Follow it to find the best defensive item in the game: the Sea Pendant. It cuts all PSI damage in half! It's best to give this to Ana, as she has the smallest HP.
When you get to the Sea Pendant cave, be sure to take some time to milk EVE for all the Exp. you can get. If you can, shoot for Ninten to get to level 38 (when he learns Lifeup Pi) and Ana to get to 34 (when she learns Lifeup Omega). Both restore HP to all party members in one go, so they're really useful.
When you get to this passage, be careful! A step beyond this place will trigger a battle with a revamped super-powerful robot: R7038XX.
The battle this time will be to your advantage: EVE and R7038XX will duke it out with each other. The huge robot will leave you alone entirely, but soon after the brawl begins, EVE gets defeated. The resulting explosion destroys R7038XX as well, though, giving you the win.
After the battle, EVE's body will lie strewn around the cliffs. Check it out and a musical box will start playing, giving you the seventh melody. Rest in Peace, EVE; your job was accomplished.
Suddenly, the mountain seems much more dangerous. Without your protector, the enemies can be downright lethal, no matter what your level. It's highly advised to focus on fleeing, as you have only a short way to go before you reach the pinnacle of the mountain.
At the top of the final cliff lies a gravestone bearing the XX mark that's appeared on many things throughout the game. If you Check it, a crystal will appear, allowing you to communicate with George's essence. He'll teach you the final melody after discussing his wife Maria's love....
After the shards disappear, if you take a peek behind the gravestone, you'll see a cave, but it's blocked by large boulders. You can't seem to budge them, but you should now have all 8 melodies (or 7 if you skipped the Dragon's). Use the Onyx Hook to teleport back to Magicant to inform Queen Mary.
