This is the final battle of the game, and naturally it's one of epic proportions. Giygas takes three forms. The first is the "eyeball" form that he starts in. Here he's joined by Heavily Armed Pokey. In this form, Giygas is invincible -- his shield will deflect your attacks. He's also fond of PSI Rockin' α and β, so have Paula create a Psychic Shield Σ, the one that absorbs psychic powers but doesn't reflect attacks.

To best this form of Giygas, the key is to focus on Pokey. Have Jeff use any remaining Multi Bottle Rockets on Pokey, and the Heavy bazooka if you don't have any. Paula and Poo should dish out their best Freeze attacks, and Ness should try paralysis, which occasionally will work on him. Occasionally Pokey will tear into you, dealing a good deal of damage, but other than that his only attack is a stinky gas that lowers your offense.

Once Pokey's had enough, he'll switch off the "Devil's Machine" to reveal a swirling red mass. He then disappears, leaving you to deal with Giygas. Multi Bottle Rockets don't work on Giygas, so use the Heavy Bazooka. Have Ness use PSI Rockin Ω - it'll fail sometimes, but that's OK. He should also heal people as needed. Poo should use Brainshock and then attack with Starstorm Ω. Paula should use Freeze Ω.

Giygas will unleash a strange attack that you "cannot grasp". This attack takes the form of a purple shockwave, and will have one of three effects. It'll either be a PSI Freeze β attack against all characters, a PSI Flash Ω attack that'll probably paralyze or kill anyone who isn't properly equipped, or a PSI Thunder β attack. Just keep hacking away at him until Pokey reappears to taunt you. You'll then move to Giygas' final form.

Giygas will keep using his incomprehensible attacks on you, while all you can do is keep the group alive with your Lifeup and Healing abilities. Have Ness, Jeff, and Poo defend if no one needs help. But have Paula "Pray" every turn she gets. Each prayer will reach a different person or group, and their own prayers will inflict damage to Giygas. Keep this up, and heal Paula ASAP if she falls. Pray nine times, and Giygas is done for.
