This is the realm of Ness' mind. Here, you'll encounter people that Ness met throughout the game. With the Star Master as your guide, you'll make your journey through the subconscious.
This is the last new 'town' of the game. There's not a whole lot to actually do here, but you can have fun talking to all the people. Everytime you talk to someone, the landscape of Magicant will change colors. It's a pretty nifty effect, so feel free to mess around for a bit before you get down to business.
First off, to your immediate right you'll find Ness' mother and Tracy sitting around an area with some furniture. Talking to them yields the same as if you had spoken to them at home -- Tracy manages your goods, Mom lets you rest.
At the Magicant shop you'll be able to buy Earth Pendants and Magic Pudding. The Earth Pendant protects from Fire, Freeze, and Flash, but only partially, which is why you hopefully brought a Sea pendant along. Stock up on Magic Pudding if you don't have any PP healing items. You'll need them for the final bout.
Follow the path around Magicant and you'll come across the home of the Flying Men, symbols of Ness' courage. You can enlist one at a time to help you fight in the area ahead. It's recommended that you do. A Flying Man is good to have in the beginning of the next area, but unfortunately they won't last you all the way to the end, so you'll eventually end up going it alone.
If your level is very high by now (in the high 90s), then you REALLY want to run away from every battle. The reason for this is that the end of this area you will receive the mother of all level-ups, but if you're already at level 99 when you get there, you'll miss out on it.
Once your preparations are complete, it's time to head into the fray. Head right from the Flying Men shack to enter the heart of Magicant. You'll be facing some pretty unique baddies, so here is a quick run-down of them. The first enemy you'll most likely face will be the Loaded Dice. All he can do is call for help, but what a call it is! He'll most likely summon enemies like Uncontrollable Spheres and Electro Swooshes, so watch out.
Speaking of Electro Swooshes, that's the next one. These guys are fond of 'sending greetings' before attacking with a dose of thunder attacks. They shouldn't be much of a problem, though.
The next enemy is the Mr. Molecule. These guys are the types of enemies that attack in groups of three or more. Their attacks consist of deadly high level PSI attacks like Fire and Freeze. Fortunately, they can't concentrate at the beginning of battle, so they're sitting ducks. They drop like flies, but be sure to take them out quickly; otherwise you'll be facing a steady rain of offensive PSI.
The final enemy is the most annoying and dangerous - the Care Free Bomb. Don't be fooled by their simple appearance! Every turn they'll shower Bombs and Super Bombs on you, knocking off 100-300 points each. This is where the rolling HP meter comes in VERY handy. If you come up against two at once, it's best to run for it or use a last-ditch attack like a Bag of Dragonite, as they each have enough HP to last for several turns.
As you're wandering around this area of Magicant, you'll encounter a clone of yourself. If you talk to him, he'll give you a Baseball Cap. Contrary to how it may seem, there's nothing special about this item at all, so feel free to throw it away if you want.
Follow the red path all the way around to the center. It works like a spiral pattern, and it's completely straightforward. As you progress you'll pass a few gift boxes containing various items. One of these contains the Magicant Bat, a bat you will surely need. Once you reach the center of Magicant you will come to a tentacle. Check it to be teleported to the very soul of Magicant -- The Sea of Eden.
