SCENE 25 - MUCKING MONOTOLI

Location: Fourside - Monotoli Building

Maps: Map 1, Map 2

Now that you have the Yogurt Dispenser, teleport back to Fourside and, after resting at the hotel if necessary, head for the Monotoli Building. When you talk to the maid outside the building, she'll relieve you of the dispenser and then invite you to the previously closed 48th floor.

You can now ride the elevator that you couldn't get into before. As soon as you step out, though, watch out, because you'll be attacked by a Sentry Robot. Use physical attacks against the robots. If they hit you with a bottle rocket, use Lifeup B to recover.

The maze isn't too terribly difficult to navigate. There are two presents amongst the rooms: a Sudden Guts Pill and a Vital Capsule. You can also find the maid's room, and if you do, she'll present you with a sample of yummy Trout Yogurt.

In the next room is the Clumsy Robot. It's strong, but doesn't attack often. Don't let it fool you -- its bologna sandwich doesn't really heal it.

He starts with a PSI shield, so use a Neutralizer before using PSI on it. Or just throw lots of Super Bombs at it if you have any. Dragonite is effective, too.

After a grueling fight against the Clumsy Robot, the Runaway Five will come to your aid by simply turning it off. After your experience, the band will tell you about some strange sounds coming from the room next door. You better investigate.

Monotoli will be immediately apologetic about having kidnapped Paula. He will explain the whole story to you, and will return Paula to your party. Not only that, he'll let you use his helicopter to go to Summers! What a great guy, for a kidnapper!

Just when you thought things were going great, Pokey has to strike again. He'll steal the helicopter and take off to who-knows-where, leaving you stranded. Monotoli won't be very helpful, either. Maybe the Runaway Five will be willing to help?

When you talk to the Runaway Five, they will tell you that they'll gladly haul you back to Threed. Before you go, make sure you have the Vital Capsule from the present, and then exit the Monotoli building and hop on the bus.
