SCENE 38 - GAME OVER...IN THE GOOD WAY

Location: Mt. Itoi: Peak

As Giegue retreats, he taunts you of his return as his ship blasts off back through the stratosphere. The ordeal with the odd invaders has been repelled for good.
As the three heroes return, so do the rest of the captured people. Many cutscenes follow showing what happened to many of the characters in the game.
Eventually, Ninten will fall asleep from his arduous journey as the game's many characters make one last appearance at the bottom of the screen. They're not named, but most are in the Characters section of this walkthrough.
The credits will roll soon after. Enjoy the music and gain an appreciation for all the people who made this brilliant game so long ago! If you put your name into the game via Ninten's or Loid's father, you'll see that it makes an appearance as well. Way to go, you!
The very last screen will leave you with a shot of a mysterious man at a phone, hinting at an upcoming problem. Do I smell a sequel? (Well, obviously Mother 2's the sequel, but Ninten's story is never continued directly.)
