Most of the items here aren't worth seeking out, but be sure to get the Rain Pendant and the Diamond Band. You should come across them pretty easily. The enemies here will literally jump out of the walls to attack you, so be alert! The Fierce Shattered Men can also be a real pain, along with the Petrified Royal Guards. If you enter a room and see too many enemies, keep leaving the room and returning until the coast is clear.

Keep in mind, though, that hieroglyph enemies never disappear. They're always in the same place, no matter how many times you leave and re-enter. Fortunately, they're pretty easy to kill, and once they die they don't come back. Just watch out for the Guardian Hieroglyph's hacking cough, it can give you a cold.

This dungeon is pretty straightforward, like most of the dungeons in EarthBound. Continue travelling up the stairs and through rooms. Eventually you'll come to a room with a casket lying on a pedestal. Looks suspicious...head into the next room, and all the way down the stairs. On your way down the stairs, you'll come to a room with two caskets against the wall. The one on the right holds a Cup of Lifenoodles, which is always useful.

Eventually you'll come to a casket blocking a door way. Check it, and you'll get the familiar Boss battle swirl.

This guy is the Guardian General, and he can really dish out some pain. He doesn't have any special attacks, just physical ones, but they pack a major whallop. If you have them, use Bottle Rockets and Bombs. Otherwise just use physical attacks and PSI Freeze. Heal yourself with LifeUp as needed.
Once the Guardian General is defeated, enter the next room. The casket in here contains the Rain Pendant, which will protect you from freeze attacks. You'll also find a switch in the lower left corner as you enter. Step on it and you'll hear a sound. What could it be?
Head all the way back up the stairs to the room where the casket was. Oddly enough, the casket is gone, revealing a hole.
Drop down the hole and you'll fall right in front of a pedestal holding none other than the Hawk Eye! This item is invaluable, because you can't traverse the next area without it.

Poo will soon be leaving the party. It may seem suicidal, then, to give him the Hawk eye, but in fact it's a very good idea. If he leaves with the Hawk eye, you'll soon get a call from Escargo Express explaining that Poo left the item with them. It won't take up space in your inventory, and when you get to Deep darkness you can give Escargo a ring and they'll deliver it to you for free.

Follow the stairs into the next room, where you'll see a hole. The casket here contains a Diamond Band. Equip it for good defense, or sell it later for $4999. It might be wise to do the butterfly trick in this room to refill your PP.
Drop down the hole, and get ready -- there could be a bunch of enemies waiting for you. Since you drop in on them it's VERY easy for them to surprise attack you, so be prepared.

Head out and through the long hall, up the stairs, and exit. Hooray! You've just completed the Scaraban Pyramid!
