Now that you've finished off this Sanctuary Location, there's only one place to go -- Scaraba. First, head back to Poo's master and get yourself healed up. Then teleport back to Summers. Head right to the port town, Toto. You'll find the Captain here, who will let you sail to Scaraba on his ship for $20 per person. Fork over $80 and hop aboard, but keep in mind that this won't be an easy ride.

After Poo joins your party, the Magic Cake lady begins selling a new item. Her Magic Tarts ($480 apiece) replenish 20 PP each. They're a bit pricy though, and it's more worthwhile to stock up on Brain Food Lunches than on these babies, since BFLs will restore more PP, along with HP (and will even completely restore Poo's HP and PP), all this at a cost about $320 more than the Magic Tarts.

Once you step on the boat, it will slowly drift out of the harbor and begin crossing the seas. While the ride is pleasant for the most part, eventually the skies will grow ominously dark...and pretty soon, the Kraken will rear its ugly head. This mythological sea beast has been attacking all travelling ships as of late. Guess whose job it is to stop it? Yep, it's time to go toe-to-toe with the mighty Kraken.

The Kraken can be pretty tough if your level isn't high enough. There are only a few things to watch out for -- his Crashing Boom Bang attacks, his fire breath, and the tornados. The Crashing Boom Bangs will occasionally be deflected by the Franklin Badge, which you should still have in your inventory. The fire breath isn't that much to worry about either. The tornados can do major damage, though.

In this case, use the same strategy for beating Thunder & Storm. Paralysis is effective, so try that with Ness, and bombard the Kraken with your strongest PSI Freeze from both Paula and Poo. While you're doing this, Jeff should be using any Big Bottle Rockets or Bombs he has, along with physical attacks. Take the time to replenish HP occasionally (both Ness and Poo are good for this with Lifeup), and hopefully you can take him out in no time.

With the Kraken defeated, you're free to sail on to the great desert nation of Scaraba.
